The need to be touched.
The thrill of feeling accepted.
The urge to be hugged.
The joy of being loved.
The want to be noticed.
The happiness of being seen.
Nothing more.
Everything.
I took these photos in Moominworld in Naantali.
Moomins are the creations of the Finnish author and artist Tove Jansson. Her books of Moomin have been translated into several languages.

And, unfortunately, we somehow manage to make it so complicated.
Yes, Liisa, isn't it absurd! People are complicated indeed:(
I loved the Moomins, but for some reason Tove is hardly exported to the French market. I lost the contact! Something to be done!
HUGS!!
You must order your Moomins via net, Peter! Absolutely! Besides, it's not so expensive and they deliver home:)
Tove was truly a fine artist, I admire her a lot.
Hugs:)
Tove is still one of my favourite writers. I reread the Moomins every now and then. And I know one of them by heart (almost).
Oh, who do you know, HPY!
Which one is you, Susu? :)
No one, I'm sad to say. Did get a hug outside the picture, though:)
Hur gick det sen (Tove Jansson 1952)
"Fran mjolkbutiken klockan fem,
ett litet mumintroll gick hem,
en kanna full med mjolk han bar
och vagen lang och kuslig var
det var ej langt till skymningen
vad tror du att det hande sen?
Men har tar morka skogen slut
och mumintrollet glad klev ut
bland blommorna i solens sken
att vila sina trotta ben"
osv osv osv
och boken slutar med
"Men Muminmamman sa med kraft,
vi dricker hadanefter saft!"
I would eagerly rant about using the word "need" but your variety of other nouns puts it admirably to its rightful place as one among many perspectives. Multitude makes everything so simple!
Surely you van get Tove Jansson's books in Amazon, Peter?
HPY, Muminmamman vet vad som är bäst, hon är ganska otrolig! Och får andra mammor att känna sid dåliga...
The word "need" is a very delicate word, tulta syöksevä lintu, it's very personal, too. Got to be careful:)
Ett speciellt tack till hpy för en liten bit av Tove och Mumin...!
Ja, Peter, HPY är snäll!
I agree. Hur gick det sen is just a wonderful book. Nyyti-book is also great but it´s the holes...
But the holes are exciting, chrome3d!
Yes, that´s what I meant. Hur gick det sen is just mind blowing stuff. The holes make it a trippy experience. Why she dropped the holes in Nyyti?
Maybe Nyyti was too sad to be twisted more by holes?
