To argue or not to agree

She loves to argue. No, ”loves” is not the right word. She has to argue, otherwise nobody pays any attention to her and without other peoples attention she doesn’t exist.

She doesn’t want to be unseen. She wants to be noticed, wants to be heard, and wants to be in the centre of everything. It’s not important, if she’s right. That’s not the point. She just wants to feel the power of disturbing the peace and well-being of people and therefore she loves to provoke and argue.

And of course, if you’d ask her, she’d say that she’s right.

She can’t agree with anything. If she’d do that, nobody would be aware of her. Everybody would just pass her, maybe smile a little, maybe utter some sympathetic words to her and then leave. She can’t stand that kind of behaviour. She wants people to acknowledge her, because she thinks she is smarter than the rest. She’s clever, intelligent and her logic is something others can only dream of.

Actually she despises people. They are morons, she thinks and it’s sad that she needs people so much.

She can’t argue alone.

Who's your model?

Reiska, don't be jealous. I know you love me, but you must understand that other people do the same.
It's universal.

HPY, I had in mind a certain type of person, no one specific, a person who wants always to be right, who is very desperately dependant of other people, but has no other means to communicate than arguing. Arguments make this person feel strong, because it would be a shame to show any weakness.

Oh no, Reiska, I'm not into arguing. And please, take the apple from your eye -red eyes aren't so beautiful.

Hey Susu, I agree! :) Well said, words seems to come easy to you, I'm so poor writer.

Good that we agree, Kirsi:))

I think I know the model, or one of them at least. She used to be like that, but growing up she has learned to care less about the importance of herself. She's got stronger in a way. She doesn't have to hide her weakness in extra-strong arguments anymore.
But I wonder, did she know that she was weak? Did she know why she argued?

SusuPetal said...

Maybe weakness wasn't her reason, maybe she had some other need to argue.
Luckily we are not all the same, we have different motives.

But, good for her, anyway. I believe energy is spared into something more furtile when one doesn't have to be on guard all the time -arguing in sometimes like that, one has to be aware and alert all the time.

Maybe you're right. After all, maybe she did it for fun...

Yes, I believe such people do exist also!

Paha olo? Yhteys omiin tunteisiin katkennut tai yhteyttä ei ole koskaan ollutkaan?

Voihan olla niinkin, Celia, tai sitten pakenemista?
