Down the memory lane I have been sliding. I have made a soundtrack for my book of poems, it has been very nostalgic listening to these songs. It wasn’t really easy to choose these songs. There is such an amount of music from the late 60’s, early and middle 70’s that bring memories to my mind.
Jimi Hendrix: Purple Haze
Janis Joplin: Cry Baby
The Doors: Light My Fire
Santana: Samba Pa Ti
Black Sabbath: Paranoid
Led Zeppelin: Stairway to Heaven
Creedence Clearwater Revival: Travellin Band
Uriah Heep: Easy Livin'
Hurriganes; Tallahassee Lassie
Deep Purple: Smoke On The Water
Slade: Coz I Luv U
Mott the Hoople: All The Young Dudes

Thank you for making my afternoon with this nostalgic musical trip to the past. My favourites: All The Young Dudes, I also like Joplin's broken voice - it's kind of touching, her whole being is quite touching. And of course - Jim Morrison, my first choice, perhaps. It's quite amazing how such a rebellious looking guy can sound so 'middle-class', so middle of the road, in a way. I think, his voice is very smooth and kind of problem-free...
Glad you have enjoyed your afternoon, Kutuharju. I had almost forgotten that song of Mott the Hoople when I stumbled into it in Youtube.
Joplin's voice is for me The Voice of female singing, and I sure would like to spend an evening with Morrison, not the rest of my life, though:))
Hendrix was my fave out of these. Now excuse me while I kiss the sky...
So honoured with my reward: don't know how to take it (dom dom).
Already found the blog and saw them waiting.....
Great: Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple and Santana have them on cd and had them on venyl. (so stupid my ex kept them)
Wow! What a concert! Have to come back with some more time to enjoy the full show... Great post!
Have a great week!
What a full program! A lot of "classics". Among these, I believe I put Janet as my favourite!
(Sincere thanks for the nice news on my blog yesterday!!)
Ha ha, that particular line suits cloud loving men, chrome3d!
Put your cursor on the flower, click at the right and there will come something like " save the photo" and you can save it on your computer and move it to your blog, if you like to do that, Trijnie. Or then you can just let me water the flowers and you can pop in my blog from time to time just to see:))
gmg, welcome again! The music is waiting for you here.
Yes, I saw you had already put the flowers in your blog, Peter. They are easy to take care of -not too much water, remember!
