The Kick

Oh, his love was so strong,
mighty and great,
and how he liked to show it.

I’ll kick the shit out of you
he murmured, groaned in ecstacy,

showing his power,
throwing it all around her.

Kicking gave him a kick.

This poem disturbs me also. So true so many ways. And so timing.. I should get the boots out from the box... Huh, said it!

I thought about Nancy Sinatra too. She has so lovely tunes with Frank and Dean.

You said it, Lepis! Still wearing your boots.....??

chrome3d, he inspiration to this poem came from old blue eye, Frank Sinatra and his song "I'll get a kick out of you".
And from there I came to think about Frank's daughter Nancy and about her boots.

It's surprising how only the word "boots" can immediately for many of us lead to this song!

I hope the boot-bearer was not one of your close relations?

No, Peter, this poem is pure fiction for me.

Holy Buckets! I really really really wish I had written this, SusuP. It's really good. I'm gonna try my level best to come up with something this good in the very whole of today.
