Dreamer

She’s a beautiful dreamer,
dreaming of her own private world,
in her own secret world,
dreaming her own faraway dreams,
shared by no one.
Beautiful dreamer,
smiling in her dreams,
so softly.
Look at her
and see the dream.

Just look at her
and be for a moment
a part of her world.
Look, but don’t touch,
don’t disturb her.

She doesn’t want to be awaken
from her dreams.

Only look. In silence.
And remember to love.

Look.

Haunting and beautiful; in fact, dreamlike.

SusuPetal said...

Glad you think so, Mick, dreamlike was the vision I had in mind.

Nice poem and good pic. I spend most of my days with my hair in my eyes. I sheepdog locks are me security blanket, I do think. Dreams are a hometown. You can go back to visit but you can't live there.

Hair is like a veil, good to hide away from a world not so dreamlike.

I have no words to add. She really seems to be left alone.

SusuPetal said...

Left alone, or wanting to be alone. Who knows, Liisa.

You are a very clever dreamer.

I like the dandelion picture. When you squint your eyes at lights they look like dandelions.

A make believer, chrome3d.

Scaughtfive, that's true, you see stars and diamonds.

Just look, don't touch -- that's something we should note & respect about young people. Especially dirty old men should learn this lesson well ;)

Dirty old men and nousy old women, too:)
