Don't they look lovely! They remind me of the village of the Hobbits in the Lord of the rings (movie).
But, I'm afraid they aren't very warm and the wind from the sea is icy...

The grown roofs, I saw them also in Norway, good isolation and beatiful in the Summer. Thankyou for the movie its beautiful

Yes they are, I believe, HPY, but I think they'd make nice cottages nowadays -a little dark, though...

The nature is quite grey, but luckily the walls of the fortress has colours, Peter.

A camera captures different things than the eye, Kutuharju, I was just amazed as you -been walking hundreds of times on the islands and still the feeling "never seen those!" was with me.

Suomenlinna is quite cool, Lepis, especially on a windy day:))
