My Old Hometown

Found a link in Mick's blog and had to try this slide show. Made a silent movie of my old hometown Turku.

Jess! You've managed to include all the special effects of a silent movie, except for the subtitles ;) an even added some extra things, like the green colour ;) (not just boring black & white).

But that is a good idea, Kutuharju. I must make the subtitles in between the photos!
Authentic!

A woman's got to do what a woman's got to do, HPY! That includes living in the net:))

Great movie...though it’s always a bit difficult to stay objective…I mean Tampere vs. Turku…but ok…there are some quite nice places in Turku too…at least you have succeeded with your creation….;))

I thank you, Kirsi, and must admit -there are some nice places in Tampere, too:))

I'm simply crazy about this new slide show, susu! I, too, love the way you used the green tinting in each frame. While I didn't choose to use the old film slide show template myself (for those of you who haven't looked at slide.com, there are over a dozen), I can see that I might want to one of these days. Yours is already a film noir classic for me! I just love it!

Oh dear, Mike, you make me blush! Thank you! And thanks to you, I found this slide-programme, I'm just nuts about such things.

I installed a Babel Fish-tool into this blog today, so now it's possible to read this blog in other languages, too. If the translation is correct, I wouldn't know, but it looks fun:)
