Let there be summer

Let the sun shine.
Let there be summer.
Look at the sea, see the waves.
The pure whiteness of the seagulls.
The golden reflection in the eyes of the mermaid.
Feel the salty drops on your tanned skin and remember
to laugh when you realize that the long and icy cold winter
is far, far away.

You are here.

A wonderful ode to summer, Susu. I enjoyed the slide show of images too! I'd like to use the photo of all those little islands in one of my montages for my Outer Dust Rings blog. Permission please?

Summer is worth an ode, Mick. Today we have +27 degrees celsius(don't know how much that is in Fahrenheit).

Permission granted. Please, let me know, when your montage is ready, so I'll come and have a look.

Those small islands are from the archipelago of Turku(south-west of Finland).

I love this. The pictures and the poem.

I should get acquainted with that tool, too. :)

The tool is very easy, Liisa, and it is fun, too!
