Cry

Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking
No, it isn’t like that.
Cry when your heart is aching.
Cry when your mind is breaking.
That’s better.
When there are clouds in the sky, you’ll get by
If you just cry when there’s fear and sorrow
Cry and maybe tomorrow
You’ll see a smile come shining through for you.
If you just cry.
Feelings should be shown. No one is supposed to be happy-go-lucky just for the convenience of other people.
There’s nothing to be afraid of tears. Tears don’t kill you, tears don’t suffocate you. Smiles through tight lips damage you more.
Please, cry.

They expect you to be happy-go-lucky all the time! If you're not, you are mean and evil person. Even if you are only tired. At least they expect that in our coffee room!

I don't drink my coffee there anymore!

Good for you, Lepis! No need to please others with the cost of good coffee.

Never need to be told to cry - it's my automatic reaction to just about everything - joy, beauty, happiness, laughter, sadness - you name it, I cry! x

No, it's not good, lost in the city.

My mother never cried, she couldn't, and it was very hard for her, much harder than to cry when you feel you have to.

That's hard, HPY, not to be able to cry, makes a feeling you're about to suffocate.

Hi Susupetal!
Sorry I couldn’t visit you for the last two weeks! I’m trying to catch-up, but must confess that I'm not in the mood for crying... ;)
OK, sometimes you need it, provided that it cheers you up... ;)
So, get to one of the most beautiful Forts in India that waits you and your comments at Blogtrotter: – The Amber Fort! Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Thanks, Susu, I will cry -- as soon as the next opportunity emerges! :´(

That's a good idea: why not write more honest lyrics, not just the syrup and candy that I'm so sick of..

Your lyrics seem always so honest, SP.

No Happy Endings in my texts, Kutuharju...

There are lots of people who can´t stand others´ crying, which makes it hard for those who cry easily.

SusuPetal said...

You're right, Liisa, crying makes people feel uncomfortable.

On the other hand, withholding tears can ruin a life. When one pretends for too long, one becomes what one pretends.

SusuPetal said...

No use in withholding tears, Kenneth. It's damaging to cry inwards, it ruins your soul.
