A May Day

May, and only a few days to the opening of the next exhibition. I have been busy! All the paintings are now ready, fifteen new ones, but still there’s a lot to do. Framing, screws to be twisted into wood, bending wire and hanging all the paintings to the walls of the gallery.

Most of the time this has been fun, and for a couple of moments, pure hell. I fight against my blue moods, I try to conquer this fatigue. Exhaustion has been luring, trying to grab me, sometimes succeeding.

Summer. It’s coming and I’m going to do absolutely nothing.

(Mick, I still can’t leave comments to your blog, it’s so annoying!)

Mick, I have the same problems as Susu with your blog!

Susu, I'm sure the exhibition will be a success.

I, too, wish you great success, Susu.

Thanks, Hèléne, I hadn't known that you were also having trouble. Could both of you, when you have a little time, please make a complaint to blog.com:

Thanks.

So pleased to see that you go for a new exhibition!

I wish all artists were as careful about screws and wire! I spend a lot of time hanging paintings for exhibitions that we organise at the Swedish Club in Paris - mostly for Swedish artists, working in France.

Hope so, HPY.

Mick, I'll contact that link when those paintings are on the walls.

Peter, carefulness is needed! Oh, you should come and hang my paintings some time with that experience of yours!!!
