My Left Hand

I've been painting with my left hand (I'm right-handed). It has been quite interesting. Look and read more about it here.

A superb portrait, Susu. Painting with the weak hand is a well worn technique for artists who can't seem to relax, resulting in what we call tight drawings or paintings. Once again, this came out very well indeed. :)

I'm not able to relax, Mick, anxiety keeps me on my nerves all the time.

Drawing with the weaker hand also stimulates the part of the brain where feelings are, this technique is also used in art therapy.
I've been lost with my feelings for decades, for example I'm still learning how to cry.

Have you still problems with commenting WordPress-blogs?

Did your self-portrait come out by itself? Brilliant!

Yes it did, Peter, brains are a funny thing.

Yritan kommentoida vasemmalla kadella mutta se ei ole helppo asia.

Jouduin joskus kirjoittamaan vasemmalla kädellä, kun oikea leikattiin. Ei kivaa, Hélène :(

Hi Susu! Today is a holiday in Portugal, but it’s the worst winter day we had since last October... As grey as if we were living in Northern Europe... So, the only right thing to do is surfing the Net... ;)

It looks great anyhow!!

Blogtrotter Two is now in St. Kitts and Nevis... Enjoy and have a great week!!!
