Me Seeing The Summer After Having A Few Scotchs

I haven’t been complaining about winter, have you noticed? Of course I have posted photos about Helsinki when it was the snowiest place in Finland.

Then came the rain and now Helsinki is the wettest place in Finland. Don’t you believe? Oh, it’s true. Finland used to be the land of thousands lakes.
Now it is the land of thousands and one lakes.

Walking in slush hig up to your knees is an experience quite soaking. Being car washed with icy mud is said to be good for your complexion, but I’m not quite sure about that. The one who said it must have been dozing on a beach, having some warm, white sand on the face, sipping occasionally cool drinks with ice, lots of ice.

Tomorrow the temperature is going down, down, and you know what that means. One has to have skates to be able to move outdoors.

Maybe I shall stay in and have some scotch.

Neat.

It must be horrible!
Ranskassakin tulvii kun lumimassat muuttuivat vedeksi - ei onneksi taalla rannikolla - ja nyt on taallakin tulossa taas kylmempaa. Eilen aamullakin pakkasasteita jokunen.
Kuvasi on hieno. Kesaiset kasvot.

Tänään oli todellakin vähän pakkasta, kadut peilijäätä. Nyt on satanut puuterilunta pari senttiä jään päälle. Tapaturmapäivystyksillä on kiire.

Kesäistä kuvaa tähän talveen tarvitaankin!

Cheers!
It's not nice there nor here - but different reasons.
Stay inside. Safer!

I raise my glass with a toast to you, Susu, and the indoors!

I'd like to stay inside, BLOGitse, but it's impossible -I have errands!

Indoors I would prefer, but they are not possible this week, Mick. But I'll drink anyhow.

Hi Susu! It might be awful outside, but you're looking wonderful inside... reflection!!

Forget the cold (imagine Australia and Brazil...) and have an excellent weekend!

PS: better than scotch, Port; and even better... Madeira... ;)

Port and Madeira are too sweet for my taste, but the island Madeira sounds good, Gil!

The glass half full, you don´t need to go to a gym, you excercise regularly!! besides, you don´t need to go far to find some ice for your scotch :))

Take care while doing your errands, hope the weather gets better!!

Layers, luckily there is creativity to play with!

Please stay in! Now for the scotch... I saw the Globtrotter recommended some Portugese drinks. Shall I give you a list of some French ones? :-)

Peter, pour me some real champagne and some red wine on the side.
