Getting To Paradise

Getting to paradise

there had to be lies,

closing of eyes.

The dice was shot

and sure, I got

the ticket to paradise.

Still paying the price.

Lovely thyme in a man-made (?) desert.

Paradise is a relative concept.

The photo is from the Japanese Garden in Helsinki, jl.
Yes, paradise is a relative concept, indeed.

Sometimes you pay a price for paradise too long time.

Gil, they grew so slowly I couldn't see!

That's true, chrome3d.

Written in a similar fashion to a haiku but a most melancholic one at that. The words are few, well-chosen, and explosively direct. They spilled everything--frustration, remorse, sadness, etc. Paradise is indeed a relative concept. For me, it is having confidence in and living in the kind of reality I choose to create for myself.
