When voices grow too heavy outside my head,
when the social stress is trying to suffocate me,
I turn inside, dive into myself
and meet the strangers of my mind.
when the social stress is trying to suffocate me,
I turn inside, dive into myself
and meet the strangers of my mind.

A stunning image for the theme, Susu. I like this one a lot! :D
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it, Mick. I like it, too -it turned out better I expected.
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling, choose fore a more relaxing life
ReplyDeleteYes, Trijnie, that feeling is familiar for most people, I should believe. The need of tranquillity.
ReplyDeleteTranquility would be to be only one and in only one place at the same time. But that is hard to achieve.
ReplyDeleteA VERY clever way to illustrate what you express in words!
ReplyDeleteTrue. HPY, hard to achieve, but in small bits, though?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Peter.
Hey, I love this image--lots of movement. By the same token, though, I think the restlessness and ambiguity in the image reveal that your inner world may be just as tangled as your outer world. Hope you can somehow untangle it.
ReplyDeleteHopelessly tangled, both outside and inside, Kenneth, we'll see what the the I of the poem shall do.
ReplyDeleteMany-sided, multifaceted - complicated, indeed!
ReplyDeleteLife is sometimes like that, Kutuharju, complicated.
