Young

The weekly challenge for Thursday Challenge is young.

These young ones and the youngs at heart waited for the moviestars of the Harry Potter-movie in July 2007 in Helsinki.

  2. Oh dear, Reiska, I should have guessed. Go to sleep, you're too excited.

  3. I like those kids in uniforms. They remind me of how I used to dress when I was going to school in Asia. We wore white shirts, green sarongs, and mischievous grins.

(I just saw the time stamp on your comment on my blog and realized I was reading your post here at the same time.)

  4. Same time, that's nice.

We don't have school uniforms here in Finland.

Green sarongs, that's exotic for me! Mischievous grins are much more familiar:)

  7. Reiska, the honest one, keep cool. The closets have only skeletons, nothing more. Are you feeling all right...?

  10. I'm a sucker for candid street shots, Susu, and I like this one. I like the whole set and, hey! Didn't I see Elegia lurking at the corner of a building in one of them? :D

  11. The first impression was this foto couldn't be from Helsinki; the kids in uniforms... but then I understood...Harry Potter - all's possible with him! Not with HIM.

  12. Street photos are great, I like them, too, Mick.
YES! I know who you meant being Elegia. When I saw that woman back then, I said to myself: if that isn't Elegia, she surely looks a lot like her!(I've never seen Elegia live, but that doesn't matter:))

Sivuaskel, Helsinki is full of surprises!

  13. Nice pictures, lot of youngsters!
especially I like girls costumes: They look like school costumes/uniforms. I could use them too ;D

  14. Hey, that's not me! I wasn't there then and I don't read Potter! ;D

  15. Elegia, as I said to Mick, I was almost certain the woman was you when I saw her with her camera. I almost went and asked her about her identity, but then I hesitated.
Does she look at all like you or are we, Mick and I, completely lost with our image of you?

  16. Now I hav to say I don't know what picture do you mean?! ;D I watched all the pics, but I did not find anyone who looks like me. :o

  17. Btv tell me what's the picture, so I can tell does it looks like me :D

  18. In Finnish: kyseessä on kuva, jossa juontaja puhuu mikkiin, taustalla on nainen, joka seisoo pylvään vieressä, kamera kädessä.
    No?

  19. Ai niin, still-kuvan saat, kun klikkaat sliden alalaidassa olevaa view all, avautuvalta sivustolta vasemmassa alalaidassa on pinnakkaiset, sieltä valitset kuvan ja suurennat sen klikkaamalla.

  20. In finnish first: Ei se kyllä näytä yhtään minulta. Mie en ikimaailmassa laittaisi vaaleita raitoja mustaan tukkaani - vaatetyylikin on ihan erilainen. En koskaan käytä farkkuja enkä korottomia kenkiä (paitsi lenkillä), vaan lähinnä hameita. ;)

No me, not even close :D

  21. No, höh. Entä kasvot, eikä niissä ole jotain samaa, edes? Korkeat poskipäät, hieman vinot silmät...? Tummat hiukset...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Itse on vaikea arvioida. En kyllä näe kasvoissakaan oikein samaa. Ehkä se johtuu kampauksesta osin, en käytä tuollaista kampausta. Samaa kenties voi olla hiustenväri (ilman raitoja siis). Kamerakin on eri ;D

En kyllä voi sanoa näkeväni tuossa itseäni.

  23. No, ei se mitään, pääasia, että Mick ja minä näemme sinut siinä:)

And translation: Mick, in this eager conversation in Finnish, Elegia stated out that she doesn't at all look like the woman in the pic. Nothing matches, maybe only the colour of hair without streaks. But I comforted her that it doesn't matter if she doesn't see herself in the pic as long as Mick and Susu does:)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes:)

(btw, it is funny how strong the images of some fellow blogger can be, you picture them right in front of you, maybe in people you pass by in the street, your image is more vivid than the reality and you can be quite surprised when you meet them in real life -"oh my god, you don't look at all like you!!!" I'm easy to spot in the street because of my four eyes -not a great disguise to keep myself anonymous...)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Susu, I'm quite sure you take two eyes off when you go out... ;)

    ReplyDelete
  26. That is true, Elegia, that is my disguise:)
